Keith Leonard

Keith Leonard began his knitting journey when he joined a lunch time knitting program in elementary school. Once the knitting bug bit, the itch never went away. After graduating from college, he started a knitwear finishing business called Knits All Done, completing hundreds of finishing projects for clients all over the United States. His finishing expertise organically transitioned into teaching knitting classes, and he has taught his skills to thousands of knitters throughout the country. In 2019 Keith started his own yarn line, yarnsnobyarns.com, and he currently spends his days producing astonishingly vibrant skeins to put in the hands of knitters.

Kyle Kunnecke

Seattle designer Kyle Kunnecke has a not-so-secret passion for colorwork. Through his fiber workshops he provides inspiration to his students; exploring the skills necessary to continue their personal knitting journeys. His patterns are published in numerous knitting books and magazines, by yarn companies, and under his label, Kyle William. He leads workshops at national and international events, including TNNA, TKGA, Vogue Knitting LIVE, and Loch Ness Knit Fest. His book, Urban Knit Collection: 18 City-Inspired Knitting Patterns for the Modern Wardrobe (Interweave, 2016) showcases projects that utilize the techniques he loves to share with his students.

These two things frequently come together to form the perfect partnership in Sarah’s own patterns, which she publishes regularly through Knot Another Hat.

Patty Lyons

PATTY LYONS is a nationally recognized knitting teacher and technique expert who is known for teaching the “why” not just the “how” in her pursuit of training the “mindful knitter”. She specializes in sweater design and sharing her love of the much-maligned subjects of gauge and blocking.

Patty teaches nationally at guilds, shops, and knitting shows around the country as well as hosting her own retreats. Her popular classes can also be found on DVD and online on her education site.

Patty designs and knitting skill articles have been published in Vogue Knitting, Interweave Knits, Knit Purl, Knitter’s Magazine, Cast On, Knit Style, Creative Knitting, and Twist Collective. Patty also is a regular contributor to Modern Daily Knitting where she writes a knitter’s advice column: “Ask Patty.” Patty’s designs have also been included in pattern collections from Classic Elite, Noro, Cascade, Tahki Stacy Charles, Sugar Bush and Willow Yarns.

Patty has been a repeat guest on PBS’s Knitting Daily TV and featured as subject-matter expert in publications including the Wall Street Journal. She’s even made a nemesis (all in good fun) out of popular late night host, Seth Meyers—of Late Night with Seth Meyers—on whose popular “Corrections” web series she’s appeared.

Patty loves to knit, crochet, spin and has even dabbled on the knitting machine. She is currently attempting not to get sucked into another yarncraft, but weaving is looking pretty interesting. Patty lives in Brooklyn with her husband, a room full of yarn, and her garden.

Shannon Squire

Shannon Squire is what you might call a Craftasaurus Rex. In other words, she’s never met a craft she didn’t like. Once upon a time, she owned a knit shop in Portland, Oregon, and once upon another time, she designed knitting patterns. Now, she helps run an amazing dyehouse, Knitted Wit, and a burgeoning craft shop, the Craft Emporium, while teaching the crafts she loves: currently those center around weaving & embroidery. One of her favorite things to do is to share her love of craft with others, and see that lightbulb of craftiness come on.

Gaye Glasspie (GG Made It)

GAYE GLASSPIE (she/her) a.k.a GGmadeit or simply GG is a 50 something year old who fell in love with knitting during a very difficult time in her life. In 2012 she lost her Dad, her Mom and her 22 year job. So she put her head down, wrapped her heart in yarn and knit her way through the most difficult time of her life. She will tell you over and over again..knitting saved her life. She is a proud graduate of YouTube university, LOL. She is a self taught knitter. She will tell you knitting not only saved her life, but also improved her self confidence. Her philosophy is “it’s not hard, it’s new.”
