Description

Coquille is the French word for shell. It seems incredibly fitting that there’s not only a city here in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, to be exact) by the same name, but that the color of this yarn reminded me of the underside of seashells – with their hazy, pearlescent gray and purple swirls. I couldn’t help myself – it was just the inspiration I wanted for this design.

A lightweight, long sleeve tee for breezy days, Coquille features a shell-inspired lace placket and unique shoulder shaping that hugs the top of the shoulders and fits like a set-in sleeve (but is worked top-down and seamless!). The placement of the increases might seem strange at first – trust the process. You’ll be amazed at the way it comes together!

Fit

Designed to fit with 2-3 in (5-7.6 cm) positive ease, choose the size of your full bust measurement and the positive ease is already included. (It is not recommended to use your upper bust measurement for this style garment.) For a roomier fit (4-6” positive ease), go up one size.  The garment is modeled with zero ease (meaning, it was knit one size smaller than the intended fit). If you knit the size according to your full bust measurement, the finished measurement will fit with slightly more ease than shown.
