Quick Housekeeping & Etiquette

  • Please make sure to join us at least 5 minutes ahead so we can start on time.
  • Please click the class link right on time so you can stay on schedule with the other events of the day (classes are pre-recorded). 
  • Please don’t private message the instructor during class. 
  • Please use Zoom’s Q&A feature to ask the instructor a question – the teacher’s assistant will relay select questions during the Q&A periods identified by the instructor. 
  • Feel free to chat with your fellow attendees in the Zoom chat box, but please note that any technique questions or questions directed to the instructor should be asked in the Q&A feature, if possible. 
  • You will not be on video or audio during classes. 
  • During the Morning Coffee and Evening Activities we encourage you to have your webcam “on” and your microphone on mute (unless otherwise instructed).

Retreat FAQs

You can access the Knit Camp at the Coast Retreat dashboard here.  You must be registered and logged in to view.

IMPORTANT
1. You must be logged in to your account on OliveKnits.com to access the retreat dashboard. Your retreat access is tied to your account.
2. Please visit your dashboard by going to OliveKnits.com on your device, not through the Knit Camp app. (Accessing the dashboard through the app can result in technical issues.)
3. For best results, please access the retreat on a laptop, desktop or tablet.

 

VIP Activities begin Thursday, September 15th at 2 PM Pacific/5 PM Eastern.

The Standard Retreat kicks off with Morning Coffee on Zoom with Marie on Friday, Sept. 16th at 8 AM Pacific/11 AM Eastern.

Yes! Retreat content will be available to view until November 1, 2022. Please note that it may take several hours after the live event for the replay to be available.

Each class features a Q&A period. Attendees with a question should ask in the Zoom Q&A box. The teacher’s assistant will relay questions to the instructor during the designated Q&A periods.

Wear comfortable clothes. No special clothing is necessary.

Can’t access your retreat dashboard? 

  • Are you logged in to your account on OliveKnits.com?
  • Are you accessing the dashboard from your browser and NOT through the Knit Camp app? (Trying to access the retreat through the Knit Camp app may result in technical issues.)
  • Is it possible that you have more than one account on OliveKnits.com? In some cases, customers set up a second account tied to a different email. If you are not seeing your retreat access, try logging in with a different email address or reach out to us for assistance.
  • Your quick-access link to the Retreat Dashboard can be found in the KNIT CAMP drop down menu on OliveKnits.com (shown below). If cannot see this dropdown, please close then open a new browser window. 
  • If you don’t see the Knit Camp drop-down menu on your device, you can also access the retreat dashboard by copy and pasting this link into your browser.
