Bentley is my second sweater design with Sherwood Yarn, and I have to tell you: I’m in love with this yarn. Not only am I the world’s biggest wool geek, but the rich, vibrant colors work perfectly with my favorite neutrals.
This vintage-inspired design features a cropped, boxy shape with texture just along the front AND these darling keyhole sleeves. Can’t you just envision this with a summer dress?
Bentley (and the Ellery hat) incorporate a little stitch called a Wildflower Knot. If you’re struggling to make it, here’s a little video that shows the technique up-close. It creates a little floral knot that really smooths out and flattens with blocking and provides visual texture without a lot of fuss.
